Best Practice: After the How Tos below it is always best practice to exit the software completely and open it back up again to ensure the new option is available

How an employee changes their PIN

  1. In Tools | Options, go to Employee | Employee Setup.

  2. Select the employee from the list, and then select Edit. The Employee Setup screen displays.

  3. Select the Change PIN button.

Note: If this has been secured, the PIN keypad displays. Enter the admin or manager’s PIN to continue. The employee’s PIN is now visible in the PIN and Confirm PIN fields.

  1. In the PIN field, enter the new PIN, then re-enter the same new PIN in the Confirm PIN field.

  2. Select Save then Close.

How to add or remove access to screens

  1. Select Tools | Options, go to Security | User Rules.

  2. Select the Security name from the list.

  3. Select the checkboxes for the screens or modules that you want to add access with a PIN.

  4. Select Save and Close.

 

How to add or remove PIN access to screens

If you want to remove the PIN pop-up screen when accessing other screens, there could be a couple of different things causing that to happen but the most common one is the Use F&B Security checkbox:

  1. Go to F&B

  2. Select Settings at the bottom of the screen then Terminal Settings on the left side. The Terminal Settings screen displays on the right.

  3. Scroll about halfway down the Terminal Setting screen and select the Use F&B Security checkbox to add a PIN access to most screens.

    Note: Uncheck the Use F&B Security option to remove the PIN access to screens.

  4. Select Save and Exit.

  5. Select Exit again if you want to close F&B.
